Excellent Tea! I brewed a cup (and took some pictures along the way); I'm sipping it as I type this. The last picture is after 4 minutes of steeping. I chose to follow the "Western Style" instructions to brew and left it purposely a bit weak for I brewed 10oz at 195 degree with to 6g of tea. The brew is light, smooth and slightly earthy. Just enough to relax and/or sooth a sore throat left that way after too many meetings. This left me ready for another 1/2 day of calls with my team.

I highly recommend this. The canister and packaging is top notch. If I had to provide a complaint it would be that the label must be cut with a knife; even with the provided perf line it is too tough to break with a twist. Providing a pull line to break the seal would improve the packaging, however that is minor complaint and would not dissuade me from buying this for myself or as a gift.

If you like traditional green tea, this is the brew for you. The tea is whole-leaf, which requires a bit more work to ensure the water temperature and steeping times are correct, but you are rewarded with a wonderfully smooth and rewarding flavor. Why? Because this is not cut-up tea filled with stems and chopped tea leaves, it is made of hand-rolled leaves and it takes about 4 minutes of steeping to coax out all the smooth and complex flavors. I love that when the tea steeps it fills the room with a beautiful flowery smell that I associate with high-quality green tea. You might be anxious to start sipping this after only a couple of minutes of steeping, and if you do, it will still be good, but if you wait the full 4 minutes you are rewarded with a deep and rich nuance of flavors. You right away get the slightly bittersweet and earthy notes, but it is followed by a slightly nutty and buttery flavor and then the floral notes blend come in about mid-pallette. This is simply wonderful green tea of exceptional quality. I even like the container, reflecting the care put into this tea.

This tea is a bit pricey, but I invoke the "you get what you pay for" rule. Plus, since you can re-steep this tea 3-5 times, its price-per cup is quite reasonable. This would make a wonderful gift for any tea snobs on your list, but would also be a good tea for someone just starting out and wanting to add some high quality diversity to their tea collection. I highly recommend it.

I'm getting into different teas, and I knew pan-fired tea was a thing but had not tried it. This tea feels like a great entrance into the world of pan-fired teas, with clear instructions on quantity of tea and particulars of the water (how much and what temp) and a lovely roasty taste. I made the recommended 5 cups from the same 5g of leaves, and was as happy with the 5th as I had been with the 1st - so this quantity will stick around for a while, even longer if you go beyond the 5 steeps recommendation. The packaging is lovely and giftable, with a white cardstock box featuring an insert with the brewing details, and an aluminum canister inside holding the bag of tea which looks lovely on the counter beside my kettle. Overall a gorgeous presentation of a delightful product!

Smelled like Honey, felt like a hug.

Everything about this, from the container to the tea, shows a commitment to excellence.
The description of the aroma and taste are: Woody, Earthy, Honey, and that exactly describes my experience of its scent and flavor. 5 g tea leaves, 8 oz of 190-degree water, 2 min 1st steep.
This smooth black tea is among the best I have ever tried. After a few sips, I was enveloped by its soothing warmth and flavor and despite the stress of the week, was able to find some peace.
