Green tea is one of the most popular beverages in the world, and it's also a great source of caffeine. But how much caffeine is actually in green tea? It depends on several factors, including the type of green tea you choose and how it’s prepared.

 

Longjing/Dragonwell Green Tea: Longjing is a type of Chinese green tea from the Zhejiang province. It contains a relatively low amount of caffeine 15–30 mg per 8 oz cup of caffeine. It has a distinctive flat shape, and its leaves are pan-fried to bring out its unique flavor. The taste of Longjing has been described as mellow, sweet, and slightly nutty with a hint of chestnut aroma. It has been used in Chinese medicine for centuries and is believed to aid digestion, reduce inflammation and improve mental clarity.
